Tire Announcement for Penton and East Alabama Motor Speedway

The United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series is gearing up for a double header in Alabama on April 17-18. Friday night the series sets up at a new speedway on the schedule for 2009, Penton Speedway in Lafayette, Al.
East Alabama Motor Speedway near Columbus Ga.
Saturday night is the return to the scene of one of the most popular stops for the UDLMCS tour in 2008, East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL.
The East Alabama Speedway format for the the United Dirt Late Models will be slightly different. The top 7 in qualifying will be guaranteed a spot in the A-Main feature. The rest of the field will be set with qualifying races and then two points provisionals.
TIRES
American Racers, the official tire sponsor for the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series, will be allowed for both of the Alabama races, and for the rest of the schedule with the exception of Golden Isles Speedway and Volusia Speedway Park. D48 and D56 tires are the tires allowed for the upcoming event. In addition Hoosier Crate 21 and Crate 55 will be allowed as well for the Alabama events only.
The United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series is expecting to have a great turnout of race teams and fans for the Alabama races.
